Perennial Garden Plants
Also known as the Modern Florilegium : A Concise Account of Herbaceous Plants, Including Bulbs, for General Garden Use
Published by Sagapress 3rd edition (November 1990), ISBN 088192167X [Book]
This book has a concise and clear description of a large variety
of garden worthy perennial plants. The quick reference with each plant indicating height,
spread, flower colour, season of bloom, and use makes it easy to find out the basics
without reading the full description. The author has indicated his favorite varieties to
look out for, has often given suggestions of good companion plantings and has included
comments by other gardeners about the plants.
