Introducing "Vancouver's silliest band".
The Strange Bedfellows are an
eight member band with guitars, keyboards, drums, assorted sound
effects and seven vocalists. Individually, the band members'
tastes run the gamut through country, 50's rock n' roll, jazz,
gospel, show tunes, 60's guitar rock, and the Beatles (a genre
unto themselves).
With such a wide range of musical tastes, and a membership whose backgrounds are as diverse as church choirs, jazz ensembles, and an escapee from a 1980's heavy metal band, it is no wonder that the group has found, musically speaking, that they truly are Strange Bedfellows.
Dubbed "The silliest band in Vancouver," the Strange Bedfellows appear clad in old- fashioned nightshirts and bedcaps. The band resembles a page from the 1895 London Illustrated News... if London Illustrated News had been a hip rock and roll rag.
