A Day’s Illumination

Rays from the rising sun gleam off the frosted leaf
Revealing veins of life spread in a splendid pattern.

The ascending light gradually unveils more
Of life’s daily activities until all is visible.

Our focus shifts to distant horizons
As the orb sinks in a splash of contemplation.

Sunset fades until the earth’s sphere of life
Ceases to mask the Infinite night sky.

Vast constellations and cosmic motions suggest
Ancient Truths evident in the morning leaf.
