Newspapers are a form of periodical published in intervals as short as a day.

Many libraries contain a collection of recent newspapers. These can include:

  • Local Daily Newspapers
  • National Newspapers
  • Community Newspapers
  • Newsletters
  • Government Publications

Your library may hold an extensive collection of newspapers on microfiche or other mechanical or digital media. Please ask your librarian about the resources of your library and how to search the periodical indexes.
