Introducing Exploring
LibrariesExploring Libraries provides a tour of the many valuable resources provided by modern libraries.
A library is loosely defined as a collection of materials. A library can be as simple as a collection of books on your shelf, books and tapes shred within a small community, a large school or municipal library, the vast resources of the Library of Congress, or the expanding digital universe of the Internet and CD-ROM disks.
Exploring Libraries describes some of the resources provided by libraries and offers some tips. The most import tip is this - visit your local library and get to know the librarians there.
Please feel free to offer related articles or links to related pages to help make Exploring Libraries a valuable resource for all.
