What is a library without books!


Books in a library can be viewed as a repostory for all of the knowledge that humans have accumulated. There are now millions of books in print that can be organized in many different ways. Some libraries will physically organize the books according to access levels:

Various systems for catagorizing and indexing books exist including:

University libraries often use the Library of Congress system. Elementary schools and public libraries often use the Dewy Decimal system. Most books now carry an ISBN number and classification which bookstores use to locate and order books. The Shared Visions Unlimited Bookstore uses ISBN numbers to order books from Amazon.com.
