
Geranium - Small Rockery These are charming petite Geraniums for full sun to partial shade. They are great in the small garden, alpine rockery, in front of the perennial border and in containers.
Erodium manescaviiZone7. Pyrenees. Height 40cm. (1 1/4') Spread 50cm. (1 1/2'). The flowers are a deep candy pink produced all summer long. They resemble Pelargonium flowers with slight veining and markings on the petals. The coarse carrot-like foliage is held in a tight clump. This is a showy large rockery plant for full sun. |

Geranium dalmaticumZone 4. Yugoslavia, Albania. Height 15cm. (6") Spread 60cm. (1'). The shell pink flowers bloom in spring. It forms a neat compact mound with glossy green foliage. This is one of the most reliable rockery plants for full sun to semi-shade. |
Geranium tuberosumZone 6. Mediterranean. Height 25cm. (10") Space 25cm. (10"). This is one of the first Geraniums to bloom. The flowers are violet pink with deeply notched petals. The leaves are deeply cut almost palm-like. This plant comes up early in the spring or late winter and goes dormant by summer. It prefers well drained soils in sunny locations. |
