These thick, broad, lance-shaped leaves are a bright chalky blue. This is a good Hosta for smaller gardens as it is not as quick to overwhelm but is a good groundcover. It also looks good in containers. It is the best one of Eric Smith's unmistakable Hosta tardianas. AGM Award of Merit RHS, 1987 AHS award winner.
