Geranium macrorrhizum 'Bevan's Variety'Zone 4. Height 40cm. (14") Spread 1.5M. (4')

This Geranium macrorrhizum has purplish-pink flowers, quite a striking colour but not very large flowers compared to G. m. 'Ingwersen's' or G.m.'Album'. The soft velvety foliage has a pungent fragrant (some find it pleasant) and will have brilliant fall colouring if planted in a sunny spot. They are semi-evergreen so do not cut them back in the fall.

It is an excellent groundcover for the most difficult sites in sun or shade.
