ConjugationThis section of Exploring English describes English verb conjugation.
Tense, person, number, voice, and mood are indicated through the inflected verb form, an auxiliary verb, or both.
For example, the verb 'to see' is conjugated for tense below:
| Present: | I see the light. |
| Present Progressive: | I am seeing the light. |
| Past: | I saw the light. |
| Perfect: | I have seen the light. |
| Past perfect: | I had seen the light. |
| Future: | I will see the light. |
| Future Perfect: | I will have seen the light. |
