Lou
CrockettArtist, Martial Art Instructor, Magician
Since arriving in Vancouver in 1967 my paintings and illustrations have appeared in numerous shows galleries and publications. Most originals reside in private collections all over the world.
Over the years I have been fortunate to find special people with whom to work and study. From my early days in Art school and traveling with a professional rythm and blues band to more recent work in the Visual Effects department of a major motion picture my imagination and skills continue to grow through the people around me.
From the people with whom I studied Taijiquan I learned, more that anything else, to remain true to myself and my desire to learn. From the people with whom I have studied conjuring I have discovered what it is to be human.
The whimsical, spiritual side of life is where I have lived since childhood. My art and my study interests all reflect that. Grow up? Me? Never!
